Return Policy

Reasons for Returns and Stipulations

Reasons for Return:

  • Out of box failure (OBF)

  • Incorrect parts ordered or shipped

  • Shipper unable to deliver or product refused by customer

  • Freight Damage

  • Product Recall

  • Product not needed by customer

a. Before requesting RA# on all OBF returns customer must identify and/or describe to the best of their ability the nature of the failure. Based on the information provided OBF Returns are subject to review and testing once received. If the OBF tests good Novus LLC has the right to refuse the return and/or issue a charge back to the customer of up to 20% of invoice.
b. If a Buyer orders the wrong product, Novus, LLC will replace it with the correct product if within 10 working days of its receipt from Novus, LLC, the Buyer returns the wrong product unused and in its original package. The Buyer agrees to pay a charge equal to 15% of the purchase price for equipment originally purchased.
c. Novus, LLC, in its sole discretion, may elect to honor requests for purchase cancellations after shipment, but in that event Buyer hereby agrees to pay a restocking fee equal to fifteen (15) percent of the purchase price of the products returned for cancellation plus freight and handling charges, if any.
d. Novus LLC will not accept returns with product abuse, software/keycodes or damage and/or damage due to Acts of God.

Return Authorization
a. All returns must be issued a "Return Authorization" (RA) number and are required for any products returned to Novus, LLC. RA numbers are obtained from the Novus, LLC Customer Service Center, and must be placed on the box containing the products, and any paperwork accompanying the return. 
b. RA# will only be issued within 30 days of the shipping date and must be returned to Novus LLC with in 30 days of RA# issue. After 30 days Novus will support defective items via the repair process and not as a return based on the items warranty date.
c. All unidentifiable packages (i.e., product packages returned without an RA) that arrive at the Novus, LLC receiving dock will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense. 
d. All sales are final and can not be cancelled once they have shipped, except those for which Novus, LLC issues a Return Authorization within 30 days of the shipping date.
e. Special order products can not be returned under any circumstances (for example: software key codes). 
f. Buyer understands and agrees that any of the charges incurred (such as charge backs or restocking fees) are reasonable in light of the anticipated or actual harm to Novus, LLC, the difficulties of proof of loss and the inconvenience of otherwise obtaining a judgment arising from the cancellation of a purchase after shipment.
g. All invoices related to a return authorization will be credited within two weeks after receipt of product returned. Non-payment of any invoice rendered within the stated payment terms automatically suspends any warranty or guarantee expressed or implied

Advance Replacement
a. Novus LLC in its sole discretion may provide an advanced replacement for any product item(s) that are to be returned, but only if a Return Authorization (RA) has been issued for the item(s) that are to be returned under warranty.
b. In the instance an advanced replacement is issued an invoice will be created for the advance replacement which will be credited within two weeks after receipt of the returned product.
